Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory – Briefly in English

Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory is located in the west coast city of Kokkola and provides basic education in multiple musical genres and dance, as well as vocational education in music. The Conservatory was founded in 1966 and currently offers a high-quality, student-focused learning environment in 11 municipalities within a 100-kilometre radius of Kokkola, to about 1600 youth and adults. The Conservatory is a significant institution in Central Ostrobothnia, with about 200 employees on payroll annually, of whom about 100 are regular faculty and staff.
